After attending Reframe Training, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the effects of prenatal alcohol use, and provide an overview of what FASD is
2. Describe common behavioural presentations associated with FASD and neurodevelopmental impairments
3. Identify situations relating to their workplace where young people with neurodevelopmental impairments are likely to need additional support or adapted expectations
4. Identify and utilise strategies relevant to their workplace when engaging with young people who may have neurodevelopmental impairments.
This workshop is suitable for frontline staff working with vulnerable young people. This is not clinical training, instead it is a training workshop focused on providing practical strategies and peer-to-peer learning opportunities to better support and understand the strengths and challenges of these youth.
