Dr Hayley Passmore

Dr Hayley Passmore is the creator and program lead for Reframe Training at Telethon Kids Institute, Perth, Western Australia. 

Qualifications

Dr Hayley Passmore has qualifications in Criminology and Psychology, and previous experience working with adult offenders and their families, and with vulnerable children and families across Western Australia. In 2019, Hayley completed her PhD at the Telethon Kids Institute and The University of Western Australia Medical School (Paediatrics), focusing on the workforce development component of the Banksia Hill study, the intervention developed as part of her PhD is Reframe Training.

Recently, Dr Hayley Passmore was a Finalist in the 2021 West Australian of the Year Awards (Youth category) for her work in the youth justice and health space. In 2020,  she was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship to explore international approaches to supporting young people with neurodisability in justice and secure care settings. She was a Finalist in the 2019 WA Premier Science Awards (Student Scientist of the Year), and a semi-finalist in the 2019 WA Young Achiever Awards, in the Young Leadership Award category.
